Bryce 7.1 Pro
Original version's render lasted 1d 10h 47m. My fault, as I did almost everything from the unwritten manual of what not to do in Bryce at the same time. Result was a disaster with some ugly unwanted refractions and the light beam vanishing into some unexplained black areas.
Changing some materials finally worked as expected.
