Mikaela, the Islander, left WP after knowing she couldn't take him with her at that moment, because the mysterious green light had already possessed him. But these Islanders wouldn't give up easily.

While sharing a meal with starving WP at her boat, yeah, our hero had sushi, Mikaela warned him about the dangers coming from nearby Fractalian Xrnak's castle. Once alone, WP couldn't naturally resist going there.

The sun had set in a fiery exhibition of reds, atmosphere was still and filled with fragrances. With the tall needles of Xrnak as a background, WP met Nerlande from the Desertbreeds. She was in charge of taking him through a treacherous desert and mountains to their land, leaving the magic coastal vantage points.

The encounter was brief. As Nerlande entered the water for a refreshing and inviting WP in, a light coming from Xrnak approached Nerlande fast. It reached her under the water in the split second she pushed WP out of it, barely touching and saving him. Nerlande went into a sensual trance. Her face reflected a serene sorrow and a strange pleasure at the same time. Once the light engulfed her, she vanished within it and returned in the direction it had first come. WP was alone again, in shock and desolated.
